Definitions

there are two kinds of illness: the first could be called autogenetic, which means that it originated within the organism and was self-generated, and exogenetic, which means that the origin of the illness was exterior. Psychosomatic illness would be autogenetic, generated by the body itself.(DMSMH, p. 92)
